Meeting With VMGC Alums and SOM
In addition to our concert this past weekend, we had a wonderful chance to meet with Alums and representatives of the School of Music regarding how to increase membership in VMGC. We were thrilled to see so many Alums in attendance: both physically and remotely. There were close to 30 alumni participating in the meeting, with about 60 people in attendance: both physically and remotely.
The meeting addressed many concerns, but certain issues remain open. At the end of the meeting, the challenge was placed on current VMGC members and Alumni to increase sponsorship and membership with the help of the School of Music.

I got the opportunity to say this to many of you Saturday night but wanted you all to hear it - I thoroughly enjoyed your concert and disagree with Dr. Kramer - I would send you out to represent the University and also the many VMGC members who came before you. You did yourselves and us proud. You are carrying the torch and carrying on the great tradition of the Club. Congratulations and thanks for the great enetertainment.
